Dependable Strengths for Secondary Educators
Are all your students succeeding and reaching their potential? If not, it is time to try the proven “strengths-based” approach to student success. We know success only comes from our strengths – not our weaknesses. But how do we uncover student strengths – many of which are “hidden” even to themselves?
The Dependable Strengths Articulation Process (DSAP), as researched at the University of Washington, is the most effective method known for identifying and articulating individual strengths. Through use of the DSAP you will identify and build on a student’s unique strengths to increase their self-esteem, motivation, and self-direction, while improving their classroom behavior and attitude toward learning. The DSAP builds a positive learning environment that benefits both educators and students.
In this engaging and enlightening two-day workshop, you will first experience highlights of the DSAP to identify your own Dependable Strengths, then receive training from a Dependable Strengths Master Trainer to deliver the DSAP to your students. The detailed Dependable Strengths Curriculum Manual (a $135 value) with all directions and worksheets needed is included in your registration fee.
Come discover the positive power of building on strengths!
Cost: $290 (includes morning refreshments each day AND a Dependable Strengths curriculum for your grade levels, a $135 value)
