WOIS Portfolios for Advisories, High School & Beyond Plans, and Culminating Projects Free!

All over the state of Washington, schools are using the WOIS Electronic Portfolio to create and store High School & Beyond Plans, Culminating Project documents, Advisory lessons, and much more. The WOIS Electronic portfolio system has been specifically designed to support these efforts, with 8 years of input from schools in Washington.

This all-day training gives you hands-on experience in using the Electronic Portfolio as students would use it. Then you will learn how to track student progress as they populate their portfolio and use it for student-led conferences, culminating projects, continually checking and modifying plans, and college and scholarship applications.

You will leave this workshop with a good understanding of the capabilities of the WOIS Electronic Portfolio, ideas from fellow educators, and 4.5 Clock Hours!

8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Setting up Portfolios for student use
9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Create your student Portfolio
10:00 a.m. - 10:10 a.m. Break
10:10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Completing High School and Beyond Plans, Goal Setting, Career Research, Uploading Culminating Project documents
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Lunch on your own
12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Administrative sorting, tracking, and reporting
